    NellieBug's Tutus

So I had won a tutu from NellieBugs not too long ago, but because I had decided to take a break from blogging, I was not able to review this product. I did NOT win this, an exchange for a review, I won this and with their permission am now reviewing it.

I was able to choose any tutu I wanted, and decided to pick the Aloha Hawaiian Tutu. The tutu is WONDERFUL. It's full, it's bright, it has a tie in the front, to ensure that it fits your child perfectly. I was instantly impressed by this tutu, and plan on buying one for my youngest just after the holidays.

You can buy this tutu for $19.99- $24.49!!!

Along with tutus, nelliebugs also sells hair accessories, cool accessories for boys, aprons and much much more!

    I'm baaaaack!!!

So this is my first official post since deciding to blog again. Everything before this, is old stuff from my previous blog. I plan on continuing to review products (hopefully have a few giveaways) and share a little bit of what is going on in my life.

    About Me:
My name is Amanda, I am 22 years old and have two beautiful children. I am currently a single mother, living on my own in a two bedroom apartment. I work full time, and am hoping to start classes online at the end of the month.

The most important thing to me are my daughters, they are my world and they give me a reason to keep going on in this cruel world. The second most important thing to me is my family. My parents are wonderful parents and my mom is one of my best friends. My sisters and I are also really close, and I'm sure you will be hearing about them every once in awhile.

I'm not really sure what else to add here, because now I feel like I am just rambling. If you have any questions, feel free to comment below.

    Happy Holidays Everyone!

    Blood Men by Paul Cleave

"Other people, they're attracted to looks, or money, nice jobs, all the hollow things in this world. Other men are attracted to tits or ass, women are attracted to smiles and eyes. Your monster, my darkness, they're attracted to blood. It makes us blood men."

My latest book is Blood Men by Paul Cleave. I had never heard of this man before, but was browsing for a new book at the book store and came across this book. After reading the back of the book, I was hooked, which never happens.

The book started off slow, and kind of left me disappointed because I had been so exciting to start the book, but once it got going, it was a thrill ride until the very end.

The book is about a husband, a father: Edward Hunter. Edward, is a good man,  he also happens to be related to one of the biggest serial killers in New Zealand. After being held up in a bank robbery, and losing his wife, Edward reconnects with his father, after 20 years.

Blood Men, takes place over 7 days. From the day off the robbery until the very suspenseful ending. We watch Edward struggle with the reality that he might be more like his father then he would like to admit. All throughout the book, I started to root for Edward. His character is very well written and you can't help but agree with some of his decisions. (Or maybe I'm just a little nuts?)

I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoyed thrillers, someone who enjoyed a book that is a little twisted, but not overly done so. Although there are a couple of parts in the book were the author just put way too much detail in it, the book is defiantly something worth reading. Just skip the page long descriptions.

eduShape Tub Fun Animals Bath Set from CSNStores!

I was given a $20 spending limit to buy anything out of all of the 200 stores that CSNStores.com has, so of course where do I look? The toy section.

I tried to find either two small toys, (for my two children) or one toy that could be easily shared between two children. After looking for what seemed like an hour, I finally decided on the edushape Tub Fun Animals Bath Set. The bath set comes with 16 animal pieces that are made out of foam. The pieces easily stick to the bathtub, which is great and there is enough that it can be shared between two children. Just what I wanted!

My girls seem to love them, and I can easily pick it up, when they are done with it. The only thing I don't like about it is the price. It was only $11.43, which in my book, is a great price but add on the shipping, and it was just under $20. In this day in age, with the economy being as bad as it is, $20 is a lot. Would I buy this toy with my own money? Probably not, not that it's not good quality, because it is, but because I personally can't afford $20 on foam.

The Lucky One by Nicholas Sparks

Now I'm not big on romance books, but Nicholas Sparks wrote A Walk to Remember, and The Notebook, both of which have turned into popular movies. I decided, that I would try one of his books, and I tried The Lucky One.

The Lucky One, is a book about a man named Logan Thibault. Thibault is a marine who did three tours in Iraq. On his first tour, he finds a photo of a woman half buried in the sand. For whatever reason he decided to find the owner of the photo, and with no luck, decides he will keep it.

Thibault, then carries the photo for five years, having an amazing amount of luck. He survives his three tours in Iraq, wins money at poker, survives an accident and much more. His friend convinces him that the photo is a luck charm and he needs to repay the woman for saving his life. That's when his journey begins.Thibault walks from Colorado to North Carolina, with just his backpack and his faithful dog.

I really enjoyed this book, I've never read a romance book written by a man, and maybe Nicholas Sparks is an exception but I almost liked it better then if it had been written by a woman. Sometimes I feel like woman, over romance stuff; they write books based on how a romance should be, or how it should be developed. Even though it seems extreme for someone to walk across the country, just to find a woman in a photo, Thibault's character isn't over-romanced. He is a simple man, with a simple misson, to find the woman who saved his live.
